Located at the bustling Stazione Roma Termini, VyTA Santa Margherita is a charming cafeteria that captivates travelers with its delightful offerings. Known for its convenient location, VyTA serves as a refuge for those en route, particularly noted for its exceptional coffee and breakfast selections. One enthusiastic patron, Giorgio Russo, praised the café for its delicious cappuccino and blueberry muffin, complimenting the staff's kindness. Such positive feedback highlights the café’s commitment to customer service despite the high foot traffic.
However, Alex K pointed out the challenges of the café’s popularity, mentioning the often crowded and noisy environment. While the staff impressively hustle to serve their many customers, this fast-paced service can sometimes feel rushed, potentially detracting from the experience. Nonetheless, the rich flavor of the espresso stands out, offering a sweet yet bitter profile that coffee lovers would surely appreciate.
Overall, VyTA Santa Margherita balances delicious food and coffee with the vibrancy of a transit hub. It's an ideal stop for a quick bite or a leisurely sip, but travelers should be prepared for a lively atmosphere.

Reviews for VyTA Santa Margherita
Review highlights
Based on 326 reviewsVyTA Santa Margherita at Stazione Roma Termini is widely appreciated for its high-quality coffee and fresh pastries, particularly its standout donuts and croissants. Customers frequently highlight the excellent value for money, especially given its competitive pricing compared to nearby options. The cafeteria's ample seating and efficient service contribute to its popularity, making it a convenient and favored spot for breakfast or a quick bite while traveling. While some find the prices slightly on the higher side, the overall consensus points to a satisfying combination of taste, affordability, and courteous staff, ensuring a pleasant experience for both locals and visitors alike.
Sure, my prosciutto cotto sandwich and cappuccino were great, but really this donut earned the five stars... maybe the best donut I’ve ever had. This will be the donut I imagine when I’m eating other donuts.
Very delicious coffee but quite expensive prices I mean, the food is decent. The service is courteous.
Excellent value for low prices, little wonder it is always crowded. Came back here every day for breakfast. Grab the croissant with honey while you can.
Great! They have plenty of seating and my croissant and cappuccino cost me a total of 2.40.
Staff were quick and whilst weren't as fluent with forginers as other places they managed to serve us quickly enough. And at half the price of the nearby mcdonalds the coffee and bits were far superior! Would very much recommend compared to other expensive places whilst waiting for a train!
I had a delicious breakfast at Vyta Café while I was waiting the for the high-speed training to Naples. Cappuccino and muffin with blueberries were both good. Waitresses were so kind. I'll go there once again.
Gawk away at the towers of beautiful and reasonably priced sandwiches. They are already made—so decide which you’d like and order it by name at the register. They will give you a slip and you simply head down the counter and had it to the attendant who will get your sandwich. Brush up on your Italian if you’d like it heated or not, or to-go. If you have a travel day and don’t want to spend but don’t want “fast” junk food, you can be in and out of here and on your train or in your taxi with something delicious for 5.
Best vegan muesli ever! Friendly staff, no matter how busy tge place is.
Great cafe open early in morning at 6. Beautiful pastries. Inside Roma termini arcade. Comfortable.
The Vyta Caffe at the Rome train station is conveniently located at the entrance, which makes it very accessible. However, this also means that it's always crowded and noisy due to the influx of people. The staff work very quickly to serve the numerous customers, but this often results in them rushing the customers, which would make one want to give a low rating for the service. It seems that hiring more staff would be the solution to this issue. The food is very tasty, especially the espresso, which is sweet yet bitter—a real treat. But despite this, I wouldn't want to visit again.
